I just have to start by saying when Ifound this restaurant on here I was so happy it's a soul food restaurant for black people out here. I'm huge on supporting black owned businesses anyway, I saw some reviews that were bad so I was nervous. I ordered the wings n oxtails meal with cabbage and yams, banana pudding for dessert and the wings were FYE I love wings fried hard with lemon pepper and they delivered just wish it was more than 3 wings maybe 4? Oxtails was meaty fallin off the bone a little more flavor but they were tender and delicious. Cabbage was so good and the wings I didn't even need hot sauce so for me that's a home run and the yams didn't disappoint nice and sweet i planned on taking a bite before the review I ended up taking like 5 LOL. Banana pudding was alright but I prefer more vanilla wafers overall imma go 9 out of 10 YALL snapped.

They were out of dressing and called and asked what substitue I would like. I select mashed potatoes and they were so watery. They also tasted how BO smells. The fried chicken was 3 wings.

Grits were runny and sweet -- not savory. Also, not enough shrimp. The cabbage was undercooked and not seasoned and tasted sweet. Will not be a repeat customer.

Wings and oxtail I got two wings and one huge oxtail no sauce no gravy no onions no nothing just one huge huge oxtail covered in fat not even tender Mac and cheese awful no bake at all just a no highly don't recommend stay away

Fried chicken was delicious and so was the collard greens. The black eyed peas were a little sweet and the Mac n cheese had a taste of bell peppers. Corn bread was moist and delicious .
