First time trying Gumbo's in downtown Mount Clemens and let me tell you it's AMAZING! I will be paying this restaurant a visit very soon! I had the Pick 2 for $14 which was a 1/2 Shrimp Po-Boy sandwich where the shrimp was seasoned and cooked perfectly with the creole mayo, crunch of the pickle and the French bread OMG out if this world and a cup of Cajun Pasta with sautéed chicken, andouille sausage, shrimp in a cajun cream sauce which was spiced perfectly and delicious! Give Gumbo's some love if you haven't tried them yet, you won't be disappointed!

Shrimp and crawfish entoufee was more like shrimp and celery entoufee! Flavor was amazing, had 4 shrimp and a pound of celery. Everything else was good.

Everything was absolutely Amazing!! Gumbo's is consistently delicious!!! We had shrimp dinner, Cajun pasta, Mac n cheese, hush puppies and corn bread. everything was hot and packaged and labeled nicely. Included all condiments and utensils. Great portions too!!

The New Orleans New Orleans Medley was delicious and so much food. The amount of spice was great on the Gumbo and jambalaya. Same with the Cajun Seasoned Fries. This was my first time ordering from there but I will definitely be ordering again.

I can't give this place the seal of approval on cajun food. I'm in NOLA quite a bit and the miss on these dishes just bummed me out. Maybe if you haven't had many of these dishes... The Red Beans & Rice was just ok. Not much flavor built in. Sweet Potato Fries were limp, no crisp, came with no sauce. Pick 2 the shrimp po boy and gumbo... Gumbo was watery. It had a good flavor but ate more like soup. Mac N Cheese was good but for 8 dollars a serving, it should be. This store has really great reviews but I have to be honest, it holds no candle to the real dishes.
