Again, this is the best soul food restaurant in Sacramento. Best Mac in cheese in Northern California hands down. Sides are incredible. But the serving size of the pie was way too small, yet delicious.

Queen Betty Pork Chops were tender and delicious. All the sides were fantastic. My only gripe is that I ordered the King's Gumbo and added shrimp for an additional $10 to only get 3 average sized shrimp. Otherwise, very good.

Food was BUSSIN as the kids say... never ordered from here before, got $100 worth of food and everything blew my mind. The greens were so addicting and The Queen Betty Chops was one of the best pork chops I've ever had. Perfectly fried and seasoned. THANK YOU GUMBO KING!!!

Let me tell you Gumbo King Best Sacramento, Ca. He food is soooo good and seasoned. The gumbo the gumbo is so good OMG. The pork chops the yams the turkey greens are magnificent. I will be coming back again and again and again and again.

The gumbo had two pieces of links, no shrimp and a glob of roux I swallowed that was disgusting. The rice was so mushy, I couldn't even eat it and I ordered an extra rice because I like alot of rice in my gumbo. Terrible experience, I wasted $40 but the banana pudding was delicious.
