I almost didn't try this place because of the handful of negative reviews but I'm SOOOOOOOO glad I tried it anyway!!!! This gumbo tastes like my Auntie from Church Point made it, and these beignets taste Much Better than the ones at Cafe Du Monde in NOLA! I will DEFINITELY be going back again and again!

Never had gumbo that had chicken gizzards until today. There was a blue crab in the container, which was much appreciated. However, no shrimp to be seen. My request for the rice to be separate was not met. Overall, very disappointed. $24 dollars was way too much for what I received.

According to my taste, Nola Gumbo2geaux was gross. some meat tasted like Vienna sausage, watery, and crab was super over cooked. Backa Town Boudain was steamed and honestly tasted boiled. I would even say under cooked.
