Guru's (aka Arda's Social Kitchen) has become our go-to for takeout since moving to the area last year. It is consistently tasty and wonderful. We don't really venture away from our basic order, but that's because it's always so good. And they have tofu! I am very thankful for that. The tikka masala is awesome and so is the lasooni gobi. The tomato soup is amazing! The spice level is right on too. And the portion sizes are excellent, even for the rice, which is great. They usually give a surprise side of something and I usually am not sure what it is, but they are such a nice touch! This last one was really good and I wish I did know what it was. Anyway, if you get their emails you know that Arda's also has a social conscience, which is appreciated too.

The Garlic Naan is always delicious and there is so much gravy in the chicken Makhani to dip my naan in. The gravy is so good I could drink it! My husband and in laws are Indian, so I know good Indian food!

Both the Matar Paneer and Veg Biryani lacked flavor. Oil content was there but it was completely flavorless. The samosas were delicious. I also thought the portion size was incredibly small for the cost compared to other local Indian restaurants. I really wanted to love this place because of all the positive reviews, but the items I ordered did NOT live up to the hype. Zero spice level after requesting medium... the samosas were spicier than the main entrees unfortunately.

Food is excellent. Indian around here is hit or miss. Not with Guru's. Consistently with perfect spice level and flavor. Got samosa, chicken korma, chicken makhani, chicken tikka masala, and rice pudding. All excellent.

the portions are EXTREMELY small. my 4 dollar raita was the same size as a chipotle guacamole container. 19 dollar biryani was in a 3"x5" container. only thing worth it was the chili paneer tbh. food tasted fine tho i'll give them that
