I was born and raised in SC. I'm INCREDIBLY picky about my fried chicken as a result. I never thought anywhere would top the local place back home. God was I wrong. This was without a doubt the best fried chicken I've ever eaten in my life. The ONLY complaints I have is in regards to the sweet tea not being southern sweet BUT it was the best I've had outside of the south.

Chicken was way too spicy and the overcooked, Mac & Cheese was good but the portion is extremely small, bake beans were too sweet and they also left out extra items I paid for. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone it's overpriced and not fresh & tasty. I never received the extra thigh I paid for

Chicken was dry. Flavor was good but it had definitely been out the fryer for a while (not fresh). Sides were okay. Baked beans had a kick to them which I liked. Mac and cheese was cheesy, just not much flavor. 2 pc/2sides + bread (a little pricey for $13). I'll probably go to Popeyes next time. At least I know what I'm getting.

Gus, what happened?
I used to love ordering your food. Tasty and satisfying, always a go to. Recently tho, the portions are shrinking. Whereas you used to serve enough food in a 3pc that sometimes I'd have a little for the next day, now it's just enough.
The smallest thighs ive ever been served.
A paltry drumstick.
A fillet on the Chicken Sandwich which the bun EASILY covered. Definitely not big and juicy. Heck, even the potato salad seems mid now.
While the other chicken folks are doing meaty cuts, yours are extremely unremarkable. And to charge $5+ for ONE PIECE...a piece smaller than the palm of my hand, feels like a situationship I no longer want.
I can't take the disappoinment and must search for a new fav.

The chicken pieces that I had delivered were much smaller than what receive when I dine in at the same restaurant. Also, they should deliver in a paper bag rather than a plastic bag which holds in the steam and reduces the crisp. I realize these are on their face minor critiques, but when a plate of chicken costs almost $30, it should be perfect.
