I have never had chicken this delicious. 3 Piece Dark Plate is perfect though I like to add 2 additional thighs because snacks for later. The combination of spices is so unique. much love from an Illinois Native

The chicken was extremel dry & the breading was hard. Chicken pieces were small. Sides were cold and Mac n cheese also looked like it had been out for a while. The meal was a disappointment in the past this was not the case for this place. The 2 piece snack chicken was 2 pieces just thrown into a paper bag! Who does that !?!

OMG!!! Best chicken ever and plenty for the money! This was my second time ordering from this establishment, and for me? that's a BIG plus. The chicken had the right amount of spice, the collard greens were fantastic, and because I ordered 2 plates, one for my friend, for her sides she choose mac and cheese and collard greens and let me tell you, that mac and cheese was FIRE!! So daggone GOOD! Y'all need to come out here to Gus and get you some, you won't be disappointed!

Got this for my construction crew today. Super big hit. Gus has gained several more followers today. Sides were delicious. Chicken was juicy flavorful and perfectly done. Portions were well worth the plate cost. You could tell it was fresh chicken.

just as good as the one in Memphis Tennessee. chicken had a well seasoned crispy skin and the meat was very juicy. Collared greens were delicious and the fried okra was possibly the best I have ever had from a restaurant. the baked beans had a nice smokey flavor. Will definitely order her again.
