THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I have had fried chicken in numerous countries, multiple states in the US, and delicious homemade...none has been close to how fantastic this is. I will be ordering from them ALOT as long as the quality stays consistent. Sides were very good also!

Fried pickles are the best in the business. Spears, not chips. They're always crisp and flavorful. Honestly, they're the way Fried Pickles should be done everywhere from now on.
Gus's fried chicken is the best that exists. Plump and juicy portions that I have ordered multiple times and will continue to order. It's so good it made me angry at all other fried chicken. I'd ever had.
Great portion size and well worth the cost. If you think Popeyes is good, just wait till Gus's becomes your new favorite chicken place.

The chicken is very flavorful a lot of spice and the greens the good a bit of meat too, Mac and cheese wasn't the best but staff were amazing really friendly, and I he store was amazing a lot a history and flavor felt throughout the store. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend this place.

First time trying Gus's and it was a 10/10!! Best fried chicken and fried okra I have ever had. The okra was fresh and not frozen and fried to perfection. The chicken was also flavorful and fried and seasoned perfectly. This is my new place for fried chicken! Lifelong customer here!

I ordered a 2 PC white snack & a Jalapeno...
It blows my mind how this restaurant can be such a drastic contrast from the Memphis location. I frequently get overcooked chicken. Normally I let it go, but I'm so angry right now. Gus' is a PREMIUM fried chicken product. Chicken is fully cooked & safe at/above 165F. You can push chicken to 180F & maintain juiciness. My chicken today seemed like it was maintained at 200F+. It's disrespectful to customers & the brand to not understand how to cook the product properly. I've been to the Memphis location half a dozen times since 2010 & have never gotten an imperfect anything there. Sure you have to wait, but I rather wait for an elite product than to be ran out with a garbage one. I knew something was up when I ordered via the doordash app en route to the restaurant & the notification came back that the order was ready within 30 seconds. I thought maybe I timed it up right. Nope. Selling that breast & that Wing is a slap in the face. The wing... I can't believe they sold that wing. Dried out. Small. Cut the roof of my mouth. I just don't get why they don't have the same quality standards as the Memphis location. It's a Chain! Unacceptable. I might be done here.
