Gus's is always delicious! My favorite fried chicken. Spicy, yes but not overly so. They have tenders if you dont prefer spices. Sides deliver as well. Cant beat the plastic souvenir cups. They are great go-cups.

Absolutely delicious! Simple straight-forward comfort food done perfectly: chicken leg had a bit of heat in the seasoning, tenders well seasoned, moist inside, breading crispy and not greasy - mac and cheese rich and creamy, collards great, and sweet potato pie was a perfect end to a great meal.

Gus is our FAVORITE fried chicken in New Orleans. Crispy and seasoned so well. Not greasy! We love the Mac and cheese too! And the coleslaw/ and the beans!!! The pie is out of this world! Pecan is amazing and chess pie is 2nd place. We love eating at their restaurant too!

Everything from Gus's is outstanding. Every time. Spice and batter on the juicy chicken is the star. Even their sides knock it out of the park; fries, okra, fried green tomatoes, yes please.

12 piece 12 Piece Snack perfect for family of 4.
Collard Greens great.
Mac & Cheese great. Ordered large but was just a cup full. Expected twice as much for the cost of the large. Not a deal breaker.
