I had the 3 Piece Dark Plate meal and it was fantastic, the chicken was juicy, crispy and extremely flavorful, the Mac and cheese was amazing and even the potato salad was bursting with flavor, everything I had was top notch, this is my new chicken spot.

The 2 piece dark meat is a very filling meal. I ordered the baked beans and fried okra as sides. Wonderful taste my mouth is still tingling. The food is fresh and I will order it again. I also ordered an-extra drumstick .

The chicken seasoning moves Gus's 2 Piece Dark Plate to my number one place for fried chicken. I did order a second drumstick however, once again I paid for it, but it did not arrive with the rest of the order. It's great to find a place that sells delicious _ Fried green tomatoes_. I will continue to order from Gus's again. Just to see if they ever include my extra drumstick.

We ordered one of everything on the menu to try. Everything is absolutely delicious. The okra, corn nuggets, and fried pickles are fried to perfection. Mac and cheese is very cheesy. The baked beans are traditionally southern with the perfect amount of sweetness. The chicken was a bit spicy, for me, but very flavorful and fried really well. This food is delicious and reminds me of what my grandmother used to make on Sundays. 10/10 stars.

The collard greens were off the charts. The mac & cheese was amazing. That honey mustard was an unexpected treasure. Crispy jalapeños that were somehow fresh and the chicken is always amazing.
Definitely going to re-order. 6/5
