Food was amazing. Sopes were loaded and worth every penny and bite. Shrimp Enchiladas were so good and fresh. Love Love Love this place. My new favorite.

Quesa Birria Tacos was delicious. The charro beans that came with the meal were so flavorful and I could've eaten a large bowl of them by themselves. I rated 4 starts because the size of the Cheese Dip Small felt disrespectful when they charged me $5 for it.

My food was just barely OK. Neither good nor bad, but edible. The Black Beans were watery, unseasoned, and undercooked. I suspect they were taken directly out of a can and into the takeout container and heated in a microwave. Again, there was zero seasoning, not even salt and the beans were hard. The Especial Gustavo's Signature For One was kind of a joke. There was literally one, single chunk of a spare rib, a few shrimp, and the rest was just strips of beef and chicken and some chorizo. The dish was incredibly bland and oddly dry. My Cheese Enchilada was ok, only because it's probably pretty tough to screw that up. Everything was so bland and obviously from a can. I hate leaving negative reviews, but the only really good thing I can say about them is that they got my order correct.

Shrimp Chimichanga was delicious. So was beef Chimichanga. However, the queso fundido was not. The cheese was hard, even after reheating. Also, there was still cilantro and onion on it, even though I gave instructions to leave them both out of this dish.

Food quality and quantity has gone down since the move. Burritos used to come w beans and rice - now that's an extra $8. Orders are wrong, items missing. Even the margaritas got worse. I miss the old Gustavo's.
