The mofongo and the chicken around it was amazing. I usually get it with some kind of liquid to put over which it did not come with but to be honest it did not need it. They covered it in a delicious garlic sauce

The store staff were super friendly and prompt in assisting with issues with my order and with making accommodations.
I did have some issues with the food though.
To start off with, they did not have any red Pescado Rojo Entero / Baked Red Snapper so it was replaced with the flounder. I asked for it to be fried. However, the tin was not vented so by the time I got it the "crispy" coating was left more soggy than crispy. Same thing with the tostones.
My husband had the Chicharrón de Pollo con Hueso / Fried Chicken Chunks with rice and beans. The rice was hard, the beans were mushy and chicken was really rubbery.
Lastly, we got the Sopa de Pollo / Chicken Soup and once we opened it and floating at the top was a big piece of chicken skin. The soup was pretty bland and lacked flavor.
As first timers ordering here, we were left disappointed :(
Im sure the food here can be great, it could have been an off day in the kitchen.

Just 2 small pieces of chicken, they put black pepper on it so it's a bit spicy. It's not a chicken soup, it's more like a thick vegetable soup.

Horrible food barely any beans, more liquid then anything else. Should be called bean soup.
Both rice and boneless chicken chunks had any flavor and only 8 pieces of bite sized chicken.
Do not and I mean do not order from this place
