Chicken Shawarma is delicious. Good size.
The store was out of hamburgers, but they called and offered to replace with Chicken Shawarma sandwiches. Mango Lassi/somali style very good. sort of a creamy mango.

My wife ordered the somali rice with fish . The fish was horribly overcooked and dry. The rice wasn't much better than a boxed rice mix and there were NO VEGETABLES in the rice except lettuce.
I had the pasta with goat meat and it was also disappointing. Big portion but the sauce was weak.
The beef Somali Sambusa with beef was decent but still seemed to lack seasoning and flavor.
We really wanted to like the food but were sadly disappointed.

Somali Rice with goat meat Very filling and satisfying meal. First time trying goat meat, Some of the meat is very tough, some of it was very tender, probably the meat close to the bone. Flavor was good, maybe somewhere in between beef and lamb.
Dish was very well seasoned, the little bit of salad is a nice contrast. I asked for extra spicy and got a side of a creamy hot sauce. Very good flavor does pack heat.

BEST SOMALI FOOD HANDS DOWN!!! The meat is so tender and flavorful but most importantly the somali samosa is soooo good! The Mango Lassi waseh😓 but everything else was 10/10.
