Hahdough is one of the best bakeries in town! All that buttery flaky goodness holding exquisite fillings can't be matched by any other bakery in town. German pastry is very different from French pastry which has dominated SF for decades. Both are fantastic and both contribute to the culinary wealth that typifies San Francisco. I just wish DoorDash drivers wouldn't crush these delicate beauties. Today we got fragments of what we ordered. The air puffed structure of the pastry shells were flattened and fragmented. DoorDash needs to do a better job.

Always high quality and delicious. They do a great job of creating desserts that aren't too sweet so you can really taste the flavor of each component instead of being overpowered by sweetness. Some favorites are the apple and cherry small pies, the cream filled donuts, and the beesting cake.

The Cassis A L'orange Slice is my absolute favorite from Hahdough. I love the tartness in the gel and it's a delight to eat. The Himbeerschokotorte (Raspberry Chocolate Cake) Slice - GF is a very close second! If ordering, I'd recommend not double dashing to avoid the mousse layers collapsing.

Cassis A L'orange Slice is my sister's FAVORITE and since today is her birthday, I dashed her a slice and a few extras. The quality is always top notch, flavors delicious and everything is fresh.

The picture is misleading. You are paying close to $10 for 1 slice. The description does say "slice" so I will acknowledge that the written part is not misleading. However for the amount of cake you get compared to how much you pay after fees and tip is a bit of a beesting :) flavor is ok. Might order again if I can walk into the bakery but not on DoorDash.
