Halal On Fire is seriously underrated. Great taste, big portions, fresh ingredients, and authentic halal flavors. The chicken shawarma and lamb over rice were amazing. One of my new favorite halal places in Austin for sure!

The Turkish Style Chicken Shawarma PLATE is their signature dish and WOW was it delish tonight! The complex citrus-based marinade flavors were deeply infused in the moist perfectly char-broiled chicken. Their white sauce is flavorful and not too heavy. And the on-the-side red sauce is next-level. Best red sauce ever! Generous portions - 1 dish enough for 2 moderately-hungry adults. My only critique is the rice: it's perfectly competent, but runs a distant second compared to the rest of this outstanding dish. This is a family-run business who works hard to be a cut above. Highly recommend!

lamb shawarma meat is too hard to chew and not possible to swallow a non chewable meat. the meat must be tender.
chicken shawarma was edible. basmati rice are heathier and better than the Turkish rice hence, more desirable.

Orders are inconsistent every time. This is the fourth time I've ordered from this place where they forgot to add the rice to a dish that's supposed to be chicken over rice. Never going back again.
