My usual go-to is the 4-flavor sampler because choosing just ONE flavor feels basically impossible. 😂 Every flavor I’ve tried has been amazing!
This time, I had friends visiting from out of town, so we upgraded our strategy and ordered the 4-pack of pints. Everyone got to pick their own flavor, and it was a HUGE hit. By the end of the night, every single person was raving that it was The Best ice cream they’ve ever had!
Creamy, delicious, tons of amazing flavors, and apparently now part of my official San Diego visitor experience. 😂 If you’re in Del Mar, do yourself a favor and stop at Handel’s. And definitely get more than one flavor. You’ll thank me later! 🍨😋

Once again, the staff is not trained properly to make "Chocolate Covered Strawberry Hurricanes"--no chocolate pieces---the strawberries were not covered in chocolate when they were added to the vanilla ice cream. This has happened multiple times, so I keep a supply of chocolate pieces to add. You would think the manager would check an order that is over $150

I ordered a hurricane and paid extra for double butterfinger and Reese's. There was no butterfinger or Reese's in it, just a big cup of vanilla ice cream and this was the 2nd time this happens.

The pickup window is not obvious, and I was ignored until I put my phone up against the glass. Otherwise, great ice cream! Will be back.
