I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken, and I must say, it lived up to the hype! The prices are fair, making it an excellent spot for a tasty, wallet-friendly meal. But the highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the chicken sandwich – it's hands down the best in town. The perfect blend of flavors and just the right amount of heat made every bite a delight. I can't wait to go back for more. Highly recommended!

I am always looking for crispy wings which are NOT undercooked and Fried Okra. Hangry Joe's did not disappoint.
I ordered the Fried Okra and Wings 6-Piece. The food was packed separately in paper bags/cartons, came with a sauce, 2 slices of pickle and small amount of cabbage. No napkins nor utensils were included, thus my 4 star rating.
The okra was crispy and did not seem salty. I prefer crisp-crunchy  and salty.  The mild Wings 6-Piece was spicy enough; it builds the more you eat ( lips are still tingly). The wings were large, meaty and crispy. 
I would order from here again, maybe try tenders and milkshake. 
  For me, the mild spice is hot enough.

Waffle Fries were golden brown and crispy. They also come with a delicious sauce. The Mega Sando is huge and they put the slaw on the side like  I asked. Overall very good!

The food was either cooked too quickly or thrown together im not sure. This is my second time ordering on DoorDash with hangry joes and the food is soggy or made poorly. The portion of chicken to fries in the Loaded Fries are always off. The chicken is huge so that's never the problem, they give barely any fries for the amount of money. Cheese isn't melted and it's lukewarm. The dasher was great and didn't take long to pick up and bring my order from down the street so it can't be the driver at this point. I'd truly hate to have to stop ordering from them through DoorDash because I love Hangry Joes but I will definitely not be wasting my money.
