About Hartles Since 1955 Hartle’s Subs has been going strong as an icon of the area. The recipe for the flying saucer hasn’t changed or the hot sauce… only the name of the family who owns it. Rich Rob…
First time eating here & it was very good. They hook you up on the toppings & the fries were so good! 9/10 :)

Since new owners taken over quality has dropped tremendously. Iveordered for yearsthe Club Club Sandwich and Meatball Sub Club smelled spoiled and Meatball Sub was burnt and sauce was old. Never has the quality been so horrible

We had high hopes for this place. The Reuben Sandwich had a fishy taste and was the meat was rubbery. The Steak & Cheese Sub had zero seasoning or flavor. The Macaroni Sald was missing from the order. The French Fries were good. The mozzarella Cheese Sticks and Onion Rings were ok.

Hartle's Sub are the best I've ever had. I first had them when I took driver's ed over 30 years ago, and my drivers ed instructor would have us stop by the store on South Potomac Street, so he could get one for his lunch everyday, and I still love them now.
