Biryani and fish pakora had good flavor. Fish was tender and succulent. Not at all dry on the inside.
Was disappointed by the Paneer Pakora given the amount of paneer used. Thickness of the paneer ranged from 4mm thick to 8mm thick. Not true to the picture on the site.

This restaurant is so good - the food is so fresh and perfect spice levels. In a neighborhood with existing Indian restaurant institutions Haveli stands out!

The lamb in the Saagwala is a far cry from tender. I paid $28 for my Saagwala
won't be doing it again.

This place has some of the best Indian food in Portland, but the past few times have been hit or miss; quality has slipped a bit and a few times we've been given extremely spicy instead of the requested mild :(
