I was so looking for to eating at Heat. I used to work there many years ago and the food and service was incredible. I called 25 minutes ahead of time and the food still wasn't ready. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes. There were maybe 3 customers in there. No one greeted me, there were 3 ladies on the floor working. The food was worse. I got a beef shawarma, because they were out of chicken. The beef was extremely chewy and burnt, terrible taste and they used to be twice the size. I also ordered lebni with zatar chips. They were out of chips and the pita was like chewing leather. The lebni just tasted like plain Greek yogurt. So very disappointed. Ugh!! $18 down the drain.
