I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful this Ginger Shoyu BBQ Chicken was, and the portion size of chicken was very generous! I ordered my plate with the green salad & dressing, and I also ordered a side of their Scoop Potato Salad and a side of Kimchee Coleslaw. The coleslaw was awesome!! I highly recommend it along with the other items I ordered. They forgot to include furikake on my brown rice, but since everything else was so delicious I was willing to overlook that error.

The steak is always perfectly prepared and served on a super healthy, fresh salad. It's obvious Hi Steaks takes time to make sure they have the best quality. The truffle fries are also beyond amazing, and addictive; I order as a side to the salad. Healthy, Filling, and Delicious!!! I would rate as a 10!!! Mahalo Nui!!!

The smoked meat was pretty much just warm beef jerky. The steak was fairly flavorless and chewy. The potato salad had chunks that were so huge it was unsettling.
The chicken was good, though!
Honestly a disappointing meal for the price. I've had FAR BETTER $8 bbq plates on the side of the road.

Steak over cooked and seasoning needed to be mixed in. Not enough rice for a mixed plate. Salad was decent. Nothing special. Chicken was ok. And shrimp should always be peeled when cooked in seasoning.
Fries were limp and cold.
