Hibachi Express has come to be one of my favorite restaurants since starting to work in Johnson City. I live in Kingsport, and it is far better than Moto's which has gone downhill in my opinion.

Since moving to JC in May, this has become my favorite place to order from. The hibachi chicken is always hot and fresh, and the chicken has never been dry or overcooked. The teriyaki chicken is just as great! Huge portions, I always end up with 2 meals from one plate.

The lo mein is genuinely the best in the area, nowhere else seems to get it right around here. It's a bit more expensive than other places (the lo mein specifically), but it delivers, especially the shrimp one. And the crab rangoons never disappoint, they are absolutely delicious. Food is always hot and fresh from here even when you order later in the evening. They always give generous portions. I order regularly from them for a reason!

Was not very happy with my meal. The General Tso Chicken was horrible. It had a ton of breading on it and it was very over cooked with hardly. any sauce. It was very dry. My rice was sticky and they only gave me about a table spoon of carrots. Not really worth the money. I would not recommend.

Do not let the outside for you. It may be in an old Burger King building  but the food is top-of-the-line. In my opinion it's better than any buffet  I get the fillet mignon religiously, and it always falls apart in your mouth. It's so tinder
