My 2nd time trying this place and it's absolutely phenomenal. Honestly one of my favorite places for barbecue in the area. I have went to a couple other bbq places and nothing compares to this place. I will most definitely be ordering again. The food was all very fresh and hot. You get a great portion for the price as well. I have gotten the 3 Meat BBQ Plate both times I've visited so far. I will most definitely be a returning customer. Very cute little joint.

This isn't the best BBQ in Tarrant County. It's the best darn BBQ in all of TEXAS!!!! I'm serious. Don't waste your time and money going to Lockhart when Hickory Stick is right here.
Huge portions. I had the brisket, lean, moist, wonderful. The homemade potato salad and homemade slaw were fantastic. I've never had BBQ this good and "I've been everywhere man...." :-)

The sandwich special was excellent. Large sandwich with plenty of onion and pickles. The sides baked potato salad and green beans were also excellent. The baked potato meat lovers was kinda weird because it was do it your self. All the pieces were separate in little bowls. The meat and potatoes were in a big container. The brisket was excellent, but that's all I ate because they weren't combined. I don't like a project when I buy food. Yep I realize that makes me lazy, but I have never gotten a meat and potatoes like that before from any other restaurant.

I got the two 2 Meat BBQ Plate with Hot Baked Potato ( brisket with sausage beef). The brisket was flavorful and good amount. Best barbecue place I've had in a while. Will be ordering from here again.

Hickory Stick is the best BBQ option for delivery in Fort Worth, hands down. I've tried some of the most well-known bbq joints in Texas and Hickory Stick does brisket right! I requested the more fatty "point" section of sliced brisket and it was perfect--super tender, flavorful, juicy. And their sauce is the perfect balance of tangy and sweet--not the thick tomato/molasses sauce that uses artificial liquid smoke and too sweet---that perfectly complements the meats. Ribs are solid choices, and the sausage is a nice coarse ground blend instead of the greasy Eckrich style. You won't be disappointed!
