• 11/22/23Hickory Tavern is my usual go to as they have the best, freshest ground angus beef. You can taste the quality. The mouthwatering mushroom onion & swiss with peppers is my favorite. Maybe drain more grease off, but delish. Best when served on sourdough bread. And their tater tots are so crispy, love!

• 9/24/25This bowl was absolutely delicious! I loved the healthy elements and also the portion size. It was very filling and fresh. I loved the creama sauce. But the Asian sauce, not so much. Also loved the brussels sprouts...packed with flavor! I will definitely order this again in the near future.

• 8/31/26The smallest pieces of fish ever received. Very little amount of chips. Totally not worth $21. Does not look anything like the picture on doo dash. Do not order the fish n chips if you are wanting a decent meal

• 12/13/25I got the Toasted Quesadilla & Steamed Broccoli. I requested plasticware, but didn't receive any. The Steamed Broccoli wasn't steamed. it was still cold and cruchy. The quesadilla was outstanding. Though I would have liked some sour cream. The little cup of sour cream was less than half full. It wasn't even a teaspoon amount. Plus there is no option to add additional sour cream. Fix these issues and it's a definite 5🌟 review.

• 6/4/23While delicious, I have several negative comments.
The Shrimp & Grits should be in a sealed container, not a styrofoam clamshell. I only got to eat about 50-75% of what I paid for because it spilled out over all of the other contents in the bag. Also, a request for sauce on the side doesn't mean that I don't want sauce - I do, just on the side, which HT omitted entirely.
For almost $6, an order of Gouda Mac should be more than 6 small spoonfuls. I've ordered this before and got way more so maybe this error is a one-off. The amount I received today was less than half the usual amount.
The Cobb Salad w/Grilled Shrimp is supposed to come with a dressing of choice. My selected dressing wasn't included.
Because of these errors resulting in me not having received all of the food that I paid for, and viewing this purchase as not worth the expense, I am only giving 2 stars. Get it together, Hickory Tavern, these are avoidable mistakes.
