The food is consistently excellent---flavorful and rich sauces with perfectly prepared meats and vegetables. We have had the Butter Chicken/Makhani Mazza, the Exotic Tikka Masala, the Navratan Korma, the Palak Paneer, the Onion Naan, garlic naan, plain naan, chicken momo--all have been so delicious every time we order. The desserts we've ordered, kheer and gulab jamun, have also been really yummy.
Our 6yo daughter doesn't tolerate spice, and this is the one place we can rely on to make a non-spicy but still incredibly flavorful butter chicken, while we also love to order a spicier dish for ourselves, and appreciate their attention to these order details.
We keep coming back to this place as it always hits the spot! We love Himalayan Cuisine, definitely a favorite!

With vibrant and distinctive spices, this is one of our favorite Indian/Himalayan restaurants in the Bay. Try the Kashmiri Rogan Josh - it's unique and quite good! We had it with lamb, and it was so tender and not gamey like some other places. Very friendly staff too if you're eating in!

Ooooo --- fresh, warm naan bread -- how do I love thee? I love naan dipped with Baigan Bharta, I love naan with Shahi Pista Korma Lamb, I even love naan toasted up for breakfast served alongside some eggs -- this is why I order extra naan every time.
I am very sensitive to spicy hot food and all the "mild" dishes I have tried so far from Himalayan Cuisine have accurately been on the mild side of spicy. Very flavorful with just the mildest "kick". So good!

The naan breads are to die for -- freshly made and still warm even with delivery!
The Shahi Pista Korma sauce is pure heaven -- creamy and full of flavor --- after you finish the meat ( lamb for me), you can scoop up the rest of the delectable sauce with your naan -- Yum!

Wanted to try something new and Himalayan Cuisine delivered some of the best tasting food I've ever tried! Loved the Paneer Butter Masala, and the smiley faces drawn on my containers made me super happy. Highly recommend!
