avocado roll and california rolls are delicious and gorgeous. quality restaurant, always busy, always friendly and helpful. quality food, good prices, the BEST sushi. I was not a sushi fan before, now I am hooked! HIGHLY recommend Hiroi Sushi.

When I unpacked it I thought: this is 5 stars! Think Costco size of sushi the value and the taste quality, but lacking Japanese refinement, so loses a star. The garnishes and dressings are very tasty. But the fish was too dense. The sushi and sashimi pieces are at least a 2bite each. Too chunky and difficult to handle, too much fishy in one bite. Could not eat too much. The size of the fish pieces makes me question the quality of the fish. The warm pieces like the Sky Roll and Unagi Handroll and one sushi aburi were cold by the time I was done with the photoshoot. Still quite tasty. I am going to deconstruct the sushi, the big sashimi leftover slices I'm going to chop up in a poke bowl next day and stir fry the kale bedding. Maybe a teryaki! If there's such a thing as too much fish?!

As tasty and as abundant as always! Volcano Roll (8-10 Pcs) was a little squished but that did not diminish its taste. Not my first time and will not be my last. (Appreciate the generous amount of napkins too)
