Home plate is one of my favorite restaurants to order from. The food is always fresh, it's always delicious and it's relatively inexpensive. Their Chili Dog is sooo good and it's cheap!

Food arrived quickly and was hot. Disappointed in the size of the Chicken Fried Chicken - this is Texas - I received one the size of a hamburger. Disappointed in quality. Taste was peppery and had some flavor. Not worth the prices paid.

The double chicken fried steak is always delicious. A ladle of gravy between the steaks would make it extra delicious. The green beans so good with the bacon flavor, always make sure you cook those green beans with bacon, and maybe try Italian style green beans that would taste like something out of the garden. Just my favorite place to eat or treat myself.

The chicken Fred steak was great but the potatoes tasted instant (not the norm) and the green beans has zero seasoning. They also forgot my cobbler. And....the stew had 2 pieces of meat in it and was mostly Celery and was an inch from the top empty!

Everything was delicious. The curly fries were nice and crispy, just like I like them. The chicken strips were delicious as well as the Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy. They gave me a very generous portion of food and the amazing thing about it is the price isn't bad at all. I also specifically asked for extra white gravy, they gave it to me as they always do. This is becoming one of my favorite restaurants
