Good food and portions . I got the ninja turtle and while not neon green like I thought it was good. The creamsicle was a dream. The regular spam musubi tasted good. The deep fried one was different yet delish. The koren chicken plate with the rice and Mac salad was definitelywnough for two people to share maybe 3.

The Scoop Mac Salad is so delicious. The portion is amazing for the price they have it at! I love this place soo much. Ever since I went to Kearny high school back in 2009, I would stop to get the Loco Moco . I've been trying other stuff on their menu like katsu chicken or lava chicken or their yummy appetizers. Everything always comes hot and fresh and I'm so forever grateful I found this place!

Kalua Pig had great flavor, though I'd like to see more options for sides that come with the item -- a sweet roll, for starters. Maybe offer some sauce (chef's choice) too.
Spam Musubi wasn't bad, though I think the rice needs just a touch more seasoning (the usual for sushi) to really make it pop. Presentation was tidy, not the mess I've seen from a couple other places in town.
Side Salad was a salad, nothing too earth-shattering. Dressing is nice, would like to see an option to have dressing on the side (in case I'd rather have the salad later).

I got the 2-item combo plate with kalbi ribs, teri chicken and all white rice. They use white chicken meat which I prefer over the thighs. I was concerned about portion size but they give you two pieces of chicken and two long pieces of kalbi. I had some leftover to eat later that night. I am from Hawaii so my standards of plate lunch are higher than most. All in all the flavor was solid and I enjoyed it. Around an 8/10 taste wise. Hard to mess up kalbi and teriyaki. Would definitely go back again because the portion sizes were worth the price here. Overall this place's value is 5-star. Especially if you're just looking for a plate lunch spot in the area.

Make sure to request the utensils and napkins and double check your order when you pick up. We love all of their food. It might be a good idea to fry the Malasadas in a separate or maybe cleaner vat of oil because they pick up the taste of what's been cooked. Korean chicken is great! sometimes a little dry, but it's a large meal and you have leftovers for two+ meals. There was a small wait, and there wasn't a designated place for people to be in line to order, pick up, or wait for their orders.
