No other fried chicken in ALL of LA that's as home made , perfectly seasoned , super fresh , crispy and over the top delicious.
My husband is southern and it passes his authenticity test .. just like it's made at home. Always fresh and ALWAYS a treat
to order from Honeybird. Every item super good. The owners and staff are 100 % always pleasant and beyond helpful. Especially, when placing a large or catered order. They make the food even BETTER!
So kind .. they really care about their customers. Ordered my entire 2023 Thanksgiving meal from them .. my very particular kids love it too ... delicious fresh and homemade goodness EVERY time. I've ordered from Honeybird for years .. cannot recommend it enough. Great food , great and very lovely people. Especially owners.

Oh my goodness, this chicken is my favorite chicken anywhere. The fried chicken is always impossibly moist and full of flavor. And the outside is perfectly crispy! The chef is a genius.
We got the Cole Slaw and Collard Greens, which were also perfect. The greens are balanced and not too salty, layered with comforting spices. And the slaw is fresh, cruncy, and has the right amount of acid for our meal.
We never get tired of ordering Honeybird.

I heard good things about this restaurant so I decided to give it a try. I was very disappointed. The chicken was old, like it may have been sitting out for a long time. the chicken was not cooked thoroughly it was pink on the inside.The macaroni and cheese was not good. The collard greens were very tasty along with the garlic mashed potatoes.

Chicken was burnt, fries were unseasoned, did get to try the cole because they did provide cutl or napkins. Would not recommend, especially if you not eating at home.
