Hong Kong City is the largest Chinese restaurant in the Greater Attleboro- Taunton area. It is a very nice place for dining - in complete with a sushi bar and a lot of ambience. It does, however, become a bit noisy when it’s busy.
The spider maki is my favorite cooked item from the sushi bar. The soft shell crab is delicious, but it is a wee bit bulky to eat with the chopsticks provided and the pieces tend to fall apart. The wasabi and ginger comes with the order. The wasabi served is very potent, but you only get enough to cover one piece which was disappointing to me.
The Singapore rice noodles are a wonderful choice and the order is very large for one person to eat. They are even better when prepared with fried tofu which will be added if requested.
The brown rice is a nice item to add to your meal as it is healthier for eating than the white rice.
The egg rolls are okay, but would taste better if they were prepared with some pieces of roast pork or shrimp.
The crab rangoons are a good size and they’re very tasty and don’t have any strange flavor to them like you can get in some establishments.
I love the Tom Yum soup at Hong Kong City. It’s prepared with chicken and extra large shrimp that have the shells removed so that you don’t have to pick at them with your fingers. The broth is a nice spicy tomato flavor and is served with chunks of fresh cooked vegetables.
I like Hong Kong City because they are conveniently located on lower Broadway in Taunton near where I live, and they have a large traditional and varied menu complete with Japanese sushi selections.

Everything was so greasy. When I picked up a fried shrimp it dripped grease all over my fingers. The egg foo young came not with the usual brown gravy but with a dark thin sauce that I didn't like at all. The only thing that I liked was the scallion pie, but not enough to order from here again. Complete waste of $70.

Hong Kong City is the largest and one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Raynham - Taunton area.
Their Singapore rice noodles are spicy and smooth. They are very tasty, especially if you like curry.
The beef chow foon is well textured and yummy.
Crab rangoons are a premium appetizer, and they're very good.
Egg rolls are real egg rolls and not spring rolls.
The dining room has some ambience to it, and is a good place to have a family get-together.

Hong Kong City Restaurant has dining-in, takeout, and delivery service. It has a large, ambient dining room which is located in what used to be the old Roseland ballroom. It has a separate sushi bar which serves a varied menu of sushi appetizers, nigiri, sashimi, maki and combination plates.
The Chinese menu offers most of the popular dishes as well as some unique special dishes.
The Singapore rice noodles with fried tofu upon request is a spicy, delicious meal that's really nice with a little bit of Chinese mustard and plum sauce.
The delights of three special dinner gives you a combination of shrimp, chicken, and beef mixed with Chinese vegetables. It is good when it's served on a bed of white rice.
Crab rangoons, egg rolls, and steamed Peking ravioli with ginger sauce make nice appetizers to go along with your meal.
Hong Kong City is convenient for us because it offers expedient delivery service through Door Dash.

Hong Kong City is the largest Chinese restaurant in Taunton - Raynham area. It occupies the ground floor of the former Taunton Roseland ballroom, and they serve a full menu of the popular Chinese food items, and also a pretty large menu of Sushi, sushi appetizers, sashimi, and maki both for dining in and takeout/delivery.
The Singapore rice noodles without the Chinese chili peppers, but with fried tofu added is succulent.
The shrimp with pea pods has a nice flavor to it. I think the secret is in the sauce.
I always place two orders of crab Rangoon, because it is so well liked by everyone in the family.
The steamed Peking ravioli is very tender and ease to eat, and it has a good-sized piece of pork in the center.
The egg rolls are okay, but they filled mostly with cabbage and I can't taste any pork or shrimp in them.
The chicken wings are full-sized and tasty but a little pricey.
The restaurant overall serves some very good Chinese food.
