Always well prepared and delicious. I have not had a bad meal here since it opened. The Hook Reel Special Blend (8 oz) is my favorite sauce and the crab is always perfect. Add broccoli to any Mini Boil for an inexpensive tasty treat.

The soup was very thin, small and had like 2 clams in it and it was a $2 up charge for the side. The seafood boil was super salty making it overwhelming. I separated my seafood from the sauce so it wasnt soaking in it. Po boy was okay. Large shrimps. Dont think I'll get again.

I ordered the Shrimp Basket today for the second time! shrimp lovers, don't hesitate to order, you will absolutely enjoy the Shrimp! They were fried to perfection. I chose to have sweet potato fries with my basket, they were awesome

Yeah I got way more than three strips, it was lit. I was only disappointed by the "Crab Fries" I thought it was crab, shaped to be like fries and then fried. So fried crab, like a skinny rangoon. It wasn't that, it was fries with crab meat draped on top. It was just lost in translation, the fries were still good and so was the crab meat. Overall a 5 star, they're meat it excellent. But I reckon an actual "Crab fry" is something they could actually do instead of fries with crab meat draped on top. Make the crab fries a skinny rangoon it would be delicious.

In general I'm a fan of Hook & Reel, maybe it's because I ordered through DoorDash and effort wasn't put into the preparation of my Beignets. The last time I ordered in the restaurant they had powdered sugar and chocolate syrup. These tasted like fried croissants and lacked flavor. I purchased two orders of them and they were a waste of $20 total disappointment.
