this was very good we had Oyster Basket they had great flavor and not over cooked. I was a bit worried I have never had them breaded like that but very good
the gumbo was delicious I will be having a bowl of that next time.
but let me just say being from Mt.and I am NAIFC fisher girl who grew up with a Dad who was a Hawaiian fisherman.
We also have traveled all over the south for work even the east coast.
the Catfish is always the same not much to it and cornbred breading and fried hard not really that good in my eyes.
the Catfish Basket here is absolutely amazing..
It was thick and flakes actually very visible when you open it up.
The breading was very good.
My Husband said you have a lot of Seattle Clam Chowder beat with your Clam Chowder ..
So this we will definitely be having again befor we leave town.

I loved this restaurant last time I ordered the Shrimp Po Boy (and I will order that again from Hook and Reel) but this experience was a bit disappointing. The Flounder Basket was a mix of good and meh. The batter was excellent. Not too much, not too little. The flounder itself, however, was a bit gummy. Now, I know that flounder doesn't thaw well from freezing, but this was overcooked gummy. Disappointed. The gumbo, however, is an abomination against God and nature. First, this was not a roux based gumbo. I don't know what it was, but it was terribad. Also, CARROTS DO NOT BELONG IN GUMBO.
TLDR: Disappointing this time, but I'll be going back for the Shrimp Po Boy.

For close to $70 this was not a deal. The crab legs were very tiny and they were over cooked and could barely get the meat out. The shrimp were overcooked as well.

I eat this alot mainly because it's my favorite food, and this food was pretty disappointing:/ the sauce was great but the crab legs were not cooked correctly and they were very soggy like and VERY hard to eat. Crab meat was almost gooey. This place is usually on point.
