I ordered the fried family pork chop meal with broccoli and mashed potatoes for the sides. The broccoli was cooked too perfection not mushy not undercooked and hard as extremely flavorful. The mashed potatoes were extremely rich and packed with flavor. The pork chops were perfect golden brown cooked all the way through with a very minimal fat around the edges... just enough to add flavor. It came with a salad that was more than enough for six people. Nothing was wilted. Everything seem to be very fresh. I'll order the fried calamari. The flavor was definitely there. The only thing I did not like was that they present it on fresh lettuce, which made it a little soggy and chewy. The thought was nice, but it did not execute well. We got three pieces of cake with our family pack and I ordered an additional since there were six people. I figured that we would all be able to try something and see which one we preferred. We got the cheesecake, Red Velvet cake and chocolate suicide. I sadly did not take pictures of them, but they were huge slabs of beautiful cakes and I don't remember the fourth flavor of cake that does not mean that it wasn't amazing because everything came quickly and was delicious. I will definitely be ordering again for the price for six people being able to eat in the comfort of our own home and now just eat but dine. It was nice for me to not have to sit up to the stove to make it a wonderful meal happen!

So I'll start with the good, the fries were very delicious and perfectly crispy. The bad, I bought the Ribeye Steak Sandwich kind of because there was hardly any description neither on the DoorDash menu or the picture of the physical menu online but I like ribeye so I decided to give it a try without much info. This is supposed to be their signature sandwich so I was thinking it would either be like a shaved steak sandwich or like a well cut well seasoned steak with maybe some kind of sauce or cheese and I was wrong on both hypothesis here. It really was just a thin ribeye on a soft bun and... I think it works kind of but it had like no seasoning on it or sauce or cheese, it definitely needs work. I have high hopes that things could get better, I recommend like maybe a crustier bread, more seasoning and maybe rendering the fat a little better on the steak if at all possible because it was also pretty chewy. I'd say as it stands though this is a real 5 out of 10, some folks may like the simplicity here but for me it could really use a little something else

Placed a door dash order for HOTG. THEY WERE NOT BUSY! The manager told the dasher it would take 5 mins. He waited over an hour. The kitchen did not even start the order until 45 mins after arrival for the pick up.
What disturbs me the most is the lack of customer service. Nobody seems to care that your actions impact the customer. Shame on you HOTG! I will no longer be a supporter of this business!
