• 2/7/24I love Huck Finn. The order is always exactly correct. My easy over eggs were perfect & the 2 pancakes were delicious & so big. The French toast is 2 slices of Texas size toast in tasty batter and cooked to a golden color. Everything was delicious.

• 8/14/24I have been eating at this restaurant for 30 years. Today, I used Door Dash . The taste of this food is fabulous. Becky is 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, and 2 pancakes. Cooked perfect. The sausage the best in the city. The eggs are fresh tasting. The great thing is they don't season it. They let me do it. I hate it when restaurants spice my food and don't put it on the menu. Pancakes are always good. I didn't get any doughnuts today, but they are by far the best in Chicago. Door dash got it to me warm. they included plenty of butter & syrup in a separate bag. Every thing was just done right.
I didn't get soup today either, I just need to say they make the best. Every soup they make is great. I often stop by to get a quart of soup and 2 doughnuts.
it's definitely worth stopping in Huckfinn’s for any meal.

Also chicken soup is like southern comfort in a bowl. Tastes like THE PERFECT chicken and dumplings but less dumplings. 100/10.

• 2/22/22Food received nice and hot. Fried Perch (3 pcs) good size, also bake potato. Surprised to received string beans in sauce. This wasn't noted on menu. Had nice size cup of dessert which I ordered Rice pudding. Delicious with Cinnamon. Claudia was friendly at front door. There was enough food for a second meal. This was my second time ordering this same meal and would rate the same.

• 6/3/26The chicken noodle soup is always so delicious and comes with yummy crackers and hot soft bread. Ordered this for my birthday and was more than happy! Can't wait to order again!
