• DoorDash orderI'm happy that there are vegan options at Hummus Republic! I really wanted to try their mushroom shawarma and I got the Pita with it. My partner got the Bowl .
It was overall a decent snack, but not the meal I thought it would be (and for the price). I actually was surprised when I finished my pita and made something else to eat to round out my dinner. I thought the sauces (garlic jalapeño and roasted red pepper hummus) were too salty (the shiitake shawarma was salty too). The roasted red pepper hummus ended up being too spicy for my partner, and we had both thought it was made with roasted red (bell) peppers and would be sweeter. (Labeling this sauce as spicy would help, so I'm saying it here for others who might want to try it). I love spicy, but not salty.
Anyway, the food seemed fresh and made with care. I appreciate that! But as for flavor and filling, it isn't for me. I probably won't order from here again, but this is a solid business. I liked that they used cardboard instead of a lot of plastic for their containers.

• DoorDash orderMy first time to try out Hummus Republic. Tried Lamb & Beef Rice Bowl and Street Style Fries Bowl. It was fresh, filling and satisfying. The Gyro Meat was perfection. The rice was undercooked though. I definitely recommend!!
