Sesame Chicken 芝麻鸡 was good but a bit dry and needed more sauce. The White Rice (For 1) 白饭 (小份 1人份) had a good flavor and excellent texture!! I was disappointed that my Coke 可乐 was not cold, that made me sad.

Absolutely delicious. Best Chinese takeout I've had in Boston! Everything was delicious. No notes. Scallion Pancake 葱油饼 were so flavorful - best I've had. Truly everything was unique but classic and delicious.

The food was absolutely delicious—exactly what I was hoping for! The portions were generous, and I even had plenty of leftovers. The spice level was perfect, flavorful without being overwhelming. My only small critique is that the online ordering system doesn’t have a section for special requests (like asking for chili oil). I had to call the restaurant to add that in, but they were kind enough to accommodate. Overall, an excellent experience, and I’ll definitely be ordering again—even if it means making a quick call for the chili oil!

The Hunan Stir Fried Live Chicken W.bones (Spicy) 湖南小炒活鸡（辣） wasn't "with bones" like whole chicken wings. Instead, it was like chicken wings had been cooked then smashed with a hammer. It came served as bite sized pieces, but every piece had shards of bone in it, making it only edible with the utmost care, using my fingers to pick the bones out of my mouth with every bite. In total, I feel like the actual amount of meat was the equivalent of ~3 boneless chunks. For what it's worth, the flavor was good.

I've been looking for a reliable chinese take-out for 3 years. Hunan Gourmet is definitely that place! Great food, great quality, and the crab rangoon are next level.
