The Jollof Meal Box is very flavorful, I tried the Nigerian style version which was a perfect portion, carefully prepared. The rice was fluffy, each grain seperate and full of slightly smoky flavor that Nigerian jollof is famous for. The beef that accompanied it was also very tasty accompanied by highly spiced stewed tomatoes and onions and a salad with house-made dressing to cool things down . You can choose between Nigeria or Ghana versions of this dish. I washed it down with a very spicy but refreshing Hibiscus and Ginger beverage. I'd definitely recommend if you enjoy flavorful, well prepared food with some character and spices.

The jollof rice and chicken were absolutely top tier. The rice was perfectly seasoned rich, flavorful, and not dry at all. You can tell it was cooked with care, every bite had that deep, authentic taste. The chicken was tender, juicy, and coated in a delicious sauce that brought everything together. Even the plantains were on point sweet, soft, and caramelized just right.
Overall, this meal was satisfying from start to finish. Definitely one of the better jollof rice dishes I’ve had in a while. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Not only did I receive two small pieces of beef compared to rest of the plate, but it was also extremely tough. Very disappointed, I'm still looking for good authentic African cuisine. Be cautious.

I ordered around 9pm and they actually had puff puff and meat pie unlike a lot of other African spots. Puff puff did what it was supposed to and the meat pie was breads but still good filling. The entrees seem pricey but ima try it soon.

Love Ike's. I'm always ordering from here, would just like to add that taste is always on point, however, portion could be increased for the price. Other than portion size, everything comes out looking and tasting good!
