I managed to order 2. HOLLYWOULD'S SF CHEESESTEAK in a bowl with no sauce, but to my very happy surprise, it was moist enough to eat. Delectable steak. I added mushrooms and tomatoes, which really worked out. The Mela Water is a must for watermelon lovers. The bag it came in carried a bold and wise statement of the love Ike aims to share that is fit for people of any or no beliefs in gods or religions. This is one of Bako's true gems for sure.

This was absolutely the BEST sandwich ive ever had! I had the number 9, name of the girl im dating. Ive had sandwiches from all the well known places, jersey mikes, subway and this was 1000 percent better! Omg the dirty sauce they put on it, was the bomb! Halal chicken, it was so good! You have to try this place!

I ordered the Hollywood's SF cheese steak with double meat and cheese. NO veggies. It had more mushrooms on than anything else. This is terrible when you pay for meat and get mainly mushrooms.
The meat that was there had good flavor and the bread did as well.
I should have been clearer about no mushrooms but there should have been more meat and cheese than mushrooms.

Seems like came with extra hard 2 day old bacon. Thats not worth $18 for a 8" sub. Been eating Ike's since I lived in SF 10y+. Make your sand worth your price please. There are sandwiches in Bakersfield cheaper and the same or better quality that make feash bread daily. Im still hungry..

There's not a lot of vegan options in town so when I saw that Ike's offers vegan options, I figured I'd try it out. And I'm glad I did! the 299. VEGAN MEL-LO KITTY was the best sandwich I've had in a long time. All the veggies were so crisp, and the dirty vegan sauce was delicious. I feel like the portion size is on par for sandwiches. I ate mine in on sitting, I didn't feel like I overate, it left me feeling satisfied. 100% will be ordering again, exploring their other vegan options.
