Just the best! The butter chicken was so flavorful, we ordered the medium spice and it was not too spicy, tons of tender sliced chicken in a yummy buttery curry sauce. The basmati rice was cooked just right, so good with the butter chicken.
The garlic nan was huge! Light garlic, tender and good. The samosas were crispy and the filling was good too.
Great portions, excellent food. India oven is our go to India restaurant!

Delicious, fresh tasting, & good portions. My fave entree is the Navaratan Korma, containing veggies & paneer cheese in a perfectly seasoned, creamy sauce. (This dish can be a gamble depending on the restaurant. Some prepare it with far too little cream, making it far too tomatoey & acidic, or ignore the mild spice request, making it too spicy to eat.) I'm always relieved when the dish is perfect! The entree comes with fluffy basmati rice. I add a condiment order of chutney (it's both thick & tasty, plus a decent size vs. other places.) I dip the veggie samosas in it.
I always get naan, so I was happy to see the sweet cherry Peshawari naan offered. I ordered from the Laguna location this time & was pleased that everything was the same quality as the order I got from the Truxel location 2 weeks ago. Only that time, I got the goat cheese naan, yum! I recommend viewing India Oven's website & comparing prices between DD & Postmates, Door Dash was $5 less. Will order again!

BUTTER CHICKEN MAKHANI I hate to be THAT GUY but I was REALLY disappointed with this order. the key issue was the portion sizing. The chicken came in a 16 oz plastic tub with a very tight fitting lid you gotta fight to get off which is ok and wrapped further in clingwrap due to its soupy consistency. but the amount of chicken, for $17 was UPSETTING. The container was less than half full of chicken with the rest being the sauce. Either reduce the cost or increase the chicken The GARLIC NAAN was average. a bit chewy and not really notable as garlic flavored. it's barely different than the regular and in a blind taste test you might be confused. the BUTTER CHICKEN MAKHANI as well was just average for flavor.
To give a perspective, I go to a Chinese place for orange chicken & I pay $17 for the chicken only entree & it is STUFT in 1 of those LARGE square Styrofoam containers. I make my own rice @ home & combined I EASILY get 3 meals out of it

Butter Chicken taste great and it came with rice , but similar to other reviews way over priced for the amount of food you receive. The portion for the butter chicken is similar to the small 1 lb container at the grocery store deli. The naan is just 1 piece cut up. I dont think I would buy again, its just too much money for small amount of food that cant feed more than 1 person.
