Before taking my comments as gospel. We are British and eat a lot of Indian food back there. This maybe the norm over here. So take with a pinch of salt. I had a Madras, which tasted nothing like what I know as a madras. It was really creamy, really pale and not spicy in the slightest. It tasted ok but not what I was expecting at all. In the UK a Madras is bright orange creamy not coconuty but hot with spices.
