their food is genuinely so good PLEASE try their salads. the chicken + salad combo is amazing and their fries and queso are to DIE for. they are definitely big portions so honestly multiple people can share one dish, though i order all of it myself cause i love this place so bad.

I've tried this place twice now and I'm convinced the owners either haven't been to San diego to eat a real California burrito or they just think customers are dumb!
It's overpriced, no salsas were included in my delivery order and the door dash app doesn't have an option to add just salsa. A real California burrito lives and dies on the quality of salsas included.
The burritos were falling apartment upon opening and the proportion of ingredients are way off. The flour tortillas in SD aren't as thick and there was a gross amount of sour cream on both burritos I ordered. The nacho burrito was missing guacamole and had a weird sweet flavor.
Replacing the tomatoes and onions with pico de gallo would be so much better. the rice and beans suck as well.

While I generally love this taco place I believe there is an issue with their ordering. I didn't ask for any taco modifications and both my tacos were delivered plain. They're not the same without the toppings. I feel like I'm eating as a toddler. The receipt shows plain and I'm very confused why?! I'm not sharing publically, but need to understand what part of the ordering system isn't clear. Certainly disappointing for the cost.

Love you guys, but leaving a bad review for visibility. When you have the option to order tacos, cilantro and onion are auto selected meaning they should be present on the food. I thought that the first time this happened it was a fluke, but there's either a disconnect in the ordering system or how your tickets print out the orders.
I don't want just meat on my tacos, I think a majority of people want cilantro and onion when ordering. Please get this feedback to the staff or fix the ordering system to prevent people from missing cilantro and onion on their tacos.
I'll order for pickup going forward.
