Everything was delicious! We ordered the Jerk Chicken and Fried Plantain. Both were fresh and flavourful. The serving size was generous as well.

Beef and Red Bean Soup - not even one piece of beef, no fresh thyme or scotch bonnet pepper flavor noted, mild to bland taste
paid .25cents extra per meal for added spice(ridiculous charge)
Oxtail decent portion size but again, fairly bland tasting despite paying the extra charge for extra spice. Noted a mild garlic flavor only
Jerk Chicken was horrid, dry meat and a flavor that turned my stomach. could not eat this food. Nothing resembling the flavor of real jerk Chicken. I knew beforehand to expect some barbecue sauce on the skin and it was not a good taste combined with whatever was used in an attempt to give a jerk flavor on the chicken.
Disappointing, and a waste of $ 50.62
Will not be buying from this restaurant again.

The Curry Chicken is always so flavourful with very generous portions! I love it every time! The steamed cabbage is always fresh and cooked perfectly.

Was very disappointed with the island poutine. I paid for curry goat on it and got chicken. There was also very little gravy. Not up to the usual standards. The Curry chicken and rice and peas were good as always.

First time ordering from The Irie Jerk. If only one item was poor quality, this bad review wouldn't exist, but the entire order was substandard. The hope is that 1) the restaurant will not disrespect their customers by selling them old, dry, stale food, and 2) potential customers be aware of this experience.
About the order...
The Coco Bread, tasted like plain bread (no hint of coconut whatsoever) but it was the only item that *might* have been fresh. Everything else seemed to be AT LEAST a day old. The Fried Plantain was disgusting -- dry, hard and rubbery. The Festivals were hard, dry, and stale. The Jerk Pork and Jerk Chicken seemed old and reheated from the day before, and the pork was so dry that it went into the garbage. The Roti bread was covered in slimy oil from reheating and the Jerk Chicken and potato filling was the most unpleasant tasting I've had in my life. Also into the garbage. What was in that? THE IRIE JERK... PLEASE CARE MORE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS THAN ABOUT $$.
