Since FLEUR de Lis went out of business, Isabella's is hands down the best pizza in town! The Calzones are delicious too and huge!

I reordered the muffaletta sandwich, and decided to also add a meatball sandwich. The move a lot of sandwich was delicious. although, I have to say that both sandwiches are a little stingy on the amount of meat that they put on it. this is particularly true for the meatball sandwich. The meatballs were actually sliced thinly with just one layer of the meat laid out on the bread. The bread that isabella uses is delicious and comes hot and crispy, so the sandwich still taste good - but that's due mostly to the bread. I still like their muffaletta sandwich the best because they have a decent olive salad and it's a distinct taste that you can't get just anywhere in Baton Rouge. Just wish they would not be so stingy with the amount of meat that they put on it all their sandwiches.

My first DoorDash border, and first sandwich and pizza from Isabella's Pizzeria. Ordered both their supreme Isabella pizza and muffuletta sandwich. I really appreciated that they did not put the muffaletta sandwich in a panini press as many places in Baton Rouge do, I prefer it hot but not smushed. I apologize that half of the sandwich in the photo has been partially eaten, it smelled so good I had to reboot my phone and could not wait to dig in. LOL
The pizza was generous on toppings and very tasty as well.

We bought the x- large 3 topping pizza with a few add ons. We had company that is why we bought such a big pizza. We got the same Italian Sausage, Shrimp, x-mozzarella cheese, black olives and herb garlic sauce for sauce rather than tomato. I have gotten the same pizza from Isabella's 3 times before but medium and they have been the best pizza EVER!!!!! I paid over $40.00 for this pizza. It was the WORST pizza I have ever had. Only 4 pieces were half eaten cuz it was so dry. Don't know if they were distracted by the LSU game, had a different cook - but if they don't fix their problem - they will lose a lot of customers, including me! I was so embarrassed cuz I had told our company they were in for a treat. NOT!

The mozzarella sticks are pretty good, the pizza was delicious! I'm picky but this place is a new favorite
