• 9/28/26Ive ordered from here many times, but today truly had me singing praises. The rice was so perfectly cooked and had a beautiful fragrant rich flavor that had me eating Goku style. Falafel is crisp and not too dense. Plenty of sauce. Mashallah 🙏🏻

• 5/5/26Always incredibly flavorful and fresh. The portion size is quite generous, so you could split a plate comfortably. We like to order two Chicken Shawarma Plates for three people and usually have some leftover... for a little while! Highly recommended by everyone in the family.

• 8/17/24This place has the best shawarma ive had since living in the south of France. The meat is juicy, its amazingly pickle heavy, the sauce is ABSOLUTELY KILLER, and whover the late night cook is, gets the saj wrap so amazingly crispy that I lose my mind every time i get the lamb shawarma. If youre European/mediterranean or whatever, this is the place. Thank you Ishtar Gate for bringing me back to my days in Provence, France with the best kebab I missed so much <3

I wanted to try all of the desserts they have, including the 11-piece حلويات بغداد Iraqi dessert assortment, so I ordered one of everything plus a Beef Kofta kebab Over Rice and Mix kebab Over Rice Dish. I couldn't tell what the كنافة Kunafah was from the picture but I knew it was gonna be amazing. It's basically a little pancake of super fine noodles pressed together and toasted on both sides. You pour a packet of sugar syrup and crushed pistachios on there. Incredible. Transcendent. I'm not crazy about baklava but their بقلاوه بالفستق الحلبي pistachio baklava is perfect. If you appreciate the craft and care that goes into making this kind of dessert you will love this place

• 7/20/22Enjoyed the chicken shawarma and lamb plate. However, the baba ghanoush and hummus plate were overpriced for the small portion and it only comes with 1 pita.
