As a Puerto Rican native raised on authentic home-cooked meals, my recent dining experience left much to be desired. I was hopeful for a taste of home, but sadly, the flavors missed the mark.
The mofongo, a staple I hold dear, arrived disappointingly dry and tasted like it had been reheated. It was missing the robust garlic flavor that characterize a well-prepared mofongo.
Moving on to the bacalaitos, they were a letdown. Instead of the crisp, savory goodness I anticipated, they were strangely stale. It was clear they had not been freshly prepared, lacking that essential crunch and freshness that makes bacalaitos irresistible.
Even the carne frita, though promising in appearance, fell short. The onions accompanying it had too much vinegar, overpowering the dish with an unpleasant tanginess that detracted from the meat's flavors.
As someone who cherishes the rich culinary heritage of Puerto Rican cuisine, this experience was disappointing. Authenticity was sorely lacking.

The Bacalaitos were greasy and had hardly any meat! Tasted like you were eating a soggy sponge! Not good at all!

The best place for Puerto Rican food. Our favorites are the asopao de camarones and the Sorullitos. All their food is authentic and delicious.

The Pastel de platano is delicious. The taste is authentic, and it's cooked perfectly. The Arroz con Pollo was too salty to enjoy.

Faltó la langosta! Pague casi 40 dólares por una comida de churrasco mofongo y langosta y no llego.
A parte este mofongo no tiene nada que ver con un verdadero mofongo.
