The food was excellent and very good and generous portions. The beef patty was very filling and the meat was high quality. The plantains were the perfect ripeness and the chicken was very juicy on the inside and flavorful with a nice crust on the outside! Great food guys!

As you can see on my container I ordered a curry chicken roti. What I got was curry goat. The goat stew was very salty and the roti was too thick. Also only 1 piece of potato was found in the roti. Disappointed. Fruit punch as usual is great.

Jerk Fried Chicken Special was great, crispy, spicy and sweet all at the same time blended well with the cabbage and rice and peas with a side a plantain. portion was filling. I have ordered this like 3 times and it has been the same.Fruit Punch is great, just picture a rum punch without the rum.

Island spice has the best chicken curry I have ever tasted. Large portions with lots of tender chicken on a bed of fluffy rice. Love the potatoes in this dish but they only give about 1 or 2 small cubes. This time I asked for extra potatoes and they delivered. Solid 9 out of 10. Tender bell pepper chunks would have taken beyond 10 out of 10 Curry Chicken. Will continue to order again and again. I hope they stay consistent.

The Jerk Fried Chicken was phenomenal!!! The baked macaroni pie was delicious. For non-Caribbeans, our traditional is baked so slightly dryer texture vs American creamy wet dripping with oily cheese. I thought it was great the flavors that were layered with sweet, spicy, and savory goodness. The one downside was I got more bones than meat and the chicken needed to be cooked maybe 5 mins longer; some pieces weren't cooked to the right doneness. Overall, i give this meal an 8 out of 10. Finally an authentic Caribbean restaurant that not call golden krust and also i do thave to drive all the way to decatur to get decent quality food.
