the queso dip needs to be more in quantity for the price, that was such a tiny container. Food quality was excellent like always, though.

We love the Ixtapa in Monroe, both the food and the staff. But this is the last time I will ever use the Ixtapa in Snohomish. We rarely go there because the food has been poor multiple times. It came up on Doordash so I tried it one more time. The Chile Colorado was the worse I've ever had. It was either old, very undercooked or just poor quality. Very tough meat and the sauce had low flavor as well.

Quesadilla (Rice & Beans) this was great, the kids loved it.<<taggedItemId=110050815>>
Sizzling Chicken Fajita<</taggedItemId>>s -theonline menu does not allow you to order no names so I decided to give these another try. I would have to say I am not at all impressed especially with the cost at nearly $30. Dry, no flavor both times, all the toppings were smashed into the middle of the to go plate and on top of the Rice so you couldn't get to the Rice without moving all the toppings and having smashed pico and guacamole in your Rice.
as you can see in photos there was more onions then anything else. would not order Sizzling Chicken Fajitas again.

Ixtapa is getting harder and harder to support. I've been coming here on and off for four years and it has progressively gotten worse. They don't care if they severely over cook your food; they'll just cover it in more sauce and send it to you. Thats what happened today with the "Ixtapa Appetizer." They fried it so long that the chicken tasted like dry dog food.
The fajitas were okay, but the portion of meat was ridiculously small.
It feels like the type of restaurant that is fine with serving sub par food and charging a premium for it. And if they know it's to-go, and you're not going to be there to let them know how it is, then they'll just give you their most pathetic attempt at cooking Mexican food. If tonight's meal was my first impression of Ixtapa, I'd call it overpriced slop made by people who obviously don't care.
Severely disappointed.

The restaurant forgot the main dish (the Chimichanga) in the Chimichanga Combo and then only refunded $6.50 on a $50+ order. The guacamole was $9 for just avocado - no onions, garlic, tomatoes - no flavor. The tortilla in the enchilada was reminiscent of cardboard. This was ordered as a Mother's Day dinner and it was royally screwed up with little to no accountability.
