God, I love J&S so much. It's definitely one of my favorite comfort foods. Always fresh and delicious. It's so good I've been ordering the exact same thing for years. The staff there are the sweetest people I swear. Thank y'all so much! 😊🧡

You can always count on the J & S to be of good quality and flavorful. The portions are great and often can be divided into two meals.
An idea for the J & S, when the order is something that would spill out of the take out container, like something with gravy or juice, wrap Saran wrap around the container to keep it from spilling into the bag.

I found a restaurant absolutely love.The food is always terrific and they immediately let me know when they were out. Thy hae entrees that a lot of other places dont. I really enjoyed the food it was good!!!!

This might be my favorite place to eat in Asheville. Everything came hot, delicious, and soulful. And everybody can't do Beef Liver with onions without that gamey, metallic taste, but they absolutely nailed it. I just wish they were open more!

This was such a good value for the portions and quality of food. I kept saying "damn!" out loud to myself. The food reminds me of a little place from my hometown that I haven't been able to find up until now. Everything tasted great, including the tea—perfectly sweetened and not too much.
