First time ordering take out and the food was so delicious! It was fresh and had the right amount of pepper heat to it...best sweet plantains I've had from a restaurant and the cornbread mmmm mmm good. To satisfy my sweet tooth I ordered the coconut rum pound cake. I haven't tried it yet but I'm sure it won't disappoint! I'll definitely be visiting in person.

Food is genuinely good the collard greens are seasoned and cooked well the sweet potatoes are sweet the Curry Chicken is delicious and it's a big portion of very hot and fresh cornbread is moist would order again!

Curry Goat (sm) had good flavor and was a decent portion for the price considering it also came with two sides. It does contain carrots, would have preferred without those or with potatoes instead. The mac and cheese was tasty, NOT dry (thank god) and a decent portion as well. overall the food was fresh, arrived piping hot, had good flavor...I would order from them again.

The oxtails are very good but they only give you four plus the plate they sent was more like 15$-18$ plate due to the size portion they give you but I paid 26$-28$ for this small portion of Oxtails rice Mac and yams , thank you anyway.

I ordered the jam soul pig feet with a kick, black eyed peas, and mac and cheese and it was everything. The pig feet were tender, full of flavor, and seasoned just right with a little heat. The black eyed peas were rich and comforting, and the mac and cheese was creamy and perfectly cooked. This is hands down my absolute favorite dish from J&J Jam. Every bite felt like real soul food done right.
