Food has really good flavor. Portions are big definitely enough for two people. But it would be better that the description of the food was accurate. A lot of the items aren't accurate. We ordered two Chingon Burrito and the Loaded Fries. Loaded Fries mentioned bacon, but none of it was added to the order. The Chingon Burritos mentioned shrimp, chorizo and steak, but neither shrimp nor chorizo were an option.

ncredible experience. Their burritos and quesabirrias are made with a real chef’s hand. Bold flavor, generous portions, and every ingredient tastes fresh and intentional. The guacamole, rice, and beans are on another level — honestly some of the best I’ve had in Santa Barbara. Congratulations, they’re on the right path.

GROUP REVIEW (11 FRIENDS)We ordered for a group of 11 friends and EVERYONE was blown away. The food arrived perfect — hot, flavorful, and made with real skill. You can tell the chef knows what he’s doing. The burritos were a hit, the quesabirrias disappeared in minutes, and even the sides (guacamole, rice, beans) tasted homemade and premium.
We have a wedding coming up and after this experience we already know who we want to cook for us. Jalapeño is on another level. Highly recommended

genuinely wanted to support this local place, especially since the owner was really friendly and reached out personally to mention that they sold out of a house and my dasher was having trouble locating them. They were really friendly over the phone but honestly, the experience didn’t match what was advertised at all. I ordered shrimp tacos and couldn’t even eat them because every single shrimp still had the tail on, which made it impossible to enjoy. On top of that, I paid $7 for a tiny 8-oz cup of horchata, which felt like a total rip-off.
To make things worse, it looks like they’re using AI-generated pictures and captions that don’t represent their real food at all. It honestly feels misleading. I appreciate the friendliness, but they really need to deliver what they promise. Disappointing experience

I didn’t order out of hunger, I ordered just to test the efficiency of this place. And I was impressed: the kindness and the way they run their style is unique. I ended up trying a chile relleno burrito… the best I’ve ever had in my life. I also thought I had to pay in cash, but no — they accept all forms of payment and are ready with every system. I don’t get the haters who just try to damage a business’s reputation; what I experienced here was quality, flavor, and top-notch service. Jalapeño SB is on another level. 🌶️🔥
